We recently did our land-away cross country trip, Jerez (LEJR) to Sevilla (LEZL). We set off in the morning and came back in the afternoon. The navigation exercise to Sevilla involved, amongst a standard navigation exercise, practice in diversions, hazard avoidance, as we were passing around an active danger area where parachute jumping was going on, and some general aircraft handling. Here are a few photos from the trip:
Arrival:

We were lucky enough to watch a Beluga land just after we vacated the runway!

Me and my flying partner, next to the PA28 parked at Sevilla Airport.

And a couple of photos of the departure:

I did a few touch and goes at Sevilla - the runway is huge! I’ve only got few solo flights to go before my first flight test now. The test will consist of a flight that lasts around 2.5 hours and everything that we’ve learnt so far will be put on test!
